Killer Tools 25-Year Anniversary Prize Drawing Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Eligibility

The Killer Tools 25-Year Anniversary Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, affiliates, and immediate family members of Killer Tools (“Sponsor”) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Promotion is void in the states of NY, FL, and RI.

Sponsor

Killer Tools and Equipment Corp. (6105 Main Ave, Suite #11, Orangevale CA 95662) is the sole sponsor of this promotion.

Promotion Period

The Giveaway begins on August 1, 2025, and ends on December 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST. Monthly drawings will occur each month from August through December, with the winners announced on the 1st of the following month. The grand prize drawing will take place on January 1st, 2026.

How to Enter

There are three (3) methods of entry, and participants may enter using all three for up to three chances per month.

• Facebook Entry: Follow @killertools on Facebook and comment on the corresponding monthly giveaway post.
• Instagram Entry: Follow @killertoolsusa on Instagram and comment on the corresponding monthly giveaway post.
• Website Entry: Subscribe to the Killer Tools email mailing list by entering a valid email address at www.killertools.com (form located at the bottom of the homepage).

All valid entries, regardless of platform, are automatically added to the grand prize drawing pool.

Prizes

• August Prize (Aug 2025): One (1) ART19 Spot Weld Pro (MSRP: $359) will be awarded to three winners, one from each entry method (Facebook, Instagram, and website).
  
• Monthly Prize (Sep-Dec 2025): A $500 Tool Credit Voucher will be awarded to three winners, one from each entry method (Facebook, Instagram, and website). Tool credit is non-transferable and has no cash value.

• Grand Prize  (Drawn Jan 2026): A $2,000 Tool Credit Voucher. Tool credit is non-transferable and has no cash value.

Total of 15 monthly prizes and 1 grand prize will be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing.

Taxes

All taxes are the sole responsibility of each winner. Sponsor will issue a Form 1099 for prizes with ARV = $600.

Winner Selection & Notification

Monthly winners will be selected via random drawing from all eligible entries, on each platform, on the 1st of the following month. Grand prize winner will be drawn on January 1st, 2026, from the combined pool of all eligible entries received throughout the campaign.

Winners will be contacted via:

• Direct message on the social platform used to enter (Facebook or Instagram), or
• Email for website entries.

Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond, a new winner may be selected. If not timely, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

Privacy

Any personal information collected (such as email address or social media handles) will be used solely for the purposes of administering this Giveaway and in accordance with Killer Tools’ Privacy Policy. You may unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time without affecting your eligibility for the Giveaway.

General Conditions

By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Killer Tools, which are final and binding in all matters. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, illegible, or suspected of violating the rules or intent of the promotion.

Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Promotion is void in the states of NY, FL, and RI.

Limitation of Liability

Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical errors, or unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway process. By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor from any liability arising from participation or prize receipt. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. By entering, you release Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility.

Winner List

To request a list of winners, please send an email to [email protected] with “Giveaway Winner List Request” in the subject line after January 15, 2026.

ADDENDUM: Video Contest Rules

In addition to the Giveaway prizes above, Sponsor will award one (1) $2,500 Killer Tools Tool Credit to the winner of the Video Contest (the “Video Contest”). By submitting a video, entrants agree to these rules in addition to the Official Rules above.

Eligibility

Same as the Giveaway eligibility stated above. Void where prohibited.

Contest Period

Entries accepted August 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST.

How to Enter (Video Contest)

Submit one (1) video of two (2) minutes or less that showcases Killer Tools products, your work using them, or a creative concept relevant to the Killer Tools brand. 

You may submit via either method:  

1. Social Media: Post publicly on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube during the Contest Period, tag @killertools (Facebook), @killertoolsusa (Instagram), or @killertools (YouTube) and include the hashtag #KillerToolsVideoContest in the caption.

2. Email: Send a link to download or view your Video (or attach the file if under 25 MB) to [email protected] with the subject line “Video Contest Entry” and your full name and contact information in the body.

Note: Multiple submissions must be materially different. Mass-produced, AI-generated, or substantially similar entries may be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion.

Content Guidelines & Safety

• Original Work: Video must be created by you, and you must own all rights (including music). Do not include copyrighted material (music, logos, footage) unless you have written permission.

• Brand Relevance: Show or reference Killer Tools products and/or brand in a meaningful way.

• Safety First: Demonstrations must follow proper shop safety (PPE, OSHA-compliant practices, no illegal or dangerous acts). Do not operate equipment in an unsafe manner.

• Appropriate Content: No profanity, nudity, hate speech, harassment, illegal activity, or content that is otherwise inappropriate or off-brand.

• Privacy: Do not display personal information of yourself or others (addresses, phone numbers, serial numbers, etc.).

• Permissions: If other people appear, you must have their written permission. If filming in a shop or dealership, you must have permission from the property owner/manager. No minors may appear unless you are their parent/guardian and provide consent upon request.

Sponsor may disqualify any Video that, in its sole discretion, violates these guidelines.

Judging & Winner Selection (Video Contest)

All eligible Videos will be reviewed by a panel of Killer Tools judges after the Contest Period. Each Video will be scored on the following criteria:

• Creativity & Originality

• Brand & Product Relevance

• Technical Quality & Clarity

The highest-scoring Video will be the potential winner. In the event of a tie, Sponsor will determine the winner at its sole discretion. The Video Contest winner will be announced by January 1, 2026.

Prize (Video Contest)

• One (1) $2,500 Killer Tools Tool Credit.

• Tool credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may be used toward Killer Tools products purchased through Killer Tools or its authorized distributors. Any unused portion expires June 30, 2026, unless prohibited by law.

Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion if necessary.

Notification (Video Contest)

Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential winner via the platform used to submit (direct message on Facebook/Instagram, comment on YouTube), or by email for email submissions. The potential winner must respond within 7 days and may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release, and provide proof of rights/permissions for all content in the Video. Failure to respond or provide requested documentation may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

License & Publicity

By submitting a Video, you grant Sponsor a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, display, and otherwise exploit the Video (in whole or in part), including your name, likeness, voice, and social handle as embodied in the Video, for marketing, promotional, and other lawful purposes in any media now known or later developed, without additional notice, review, or compensation, unless prohibited by law.

General (Video Contest)

All other terms of the Official Rules (General Conditions, Limitation of Liability, Privacy, and applicable laws) apply to this Video Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Video Contest (or any part of it) if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Video Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
